John Travolta pays tribute to the BSF at an exclusive fundraiser
The Signorelli family, owners of Doltone House hosted an intimate fundraising dinner with global movie star John Travolta at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf for the Biaggio Signorelli Asbestos Foundation as part of National Asbestos Awareness Month.
Fifteen guests were hosted by Paul Signorelli, Nina Milazzo and Anna Cesarano, siblings and founders of the Foundation.
The VIP guests were treated to a specially crafted menu; each course named after Travolta’s movie classics. Guests were welcomed by a “Pulp Fiction” Cocktail, a “Swordfish” deluxe seafood platter starter, “Gotti” pasta from the parmesan wheel; a “Blow Out” black Angus steak and a “Phenomenon” soufflé “From Paris With Love”.
Travolta was inspired by the attention to detail of the night and truly humbled by the hospitality of the Signorelli Family which made it a remarkable evening for all.
“The space and food was incredible. The conversation was entertaining and flowing, it was a great night,” said Mr Travolta.
Paul Signorelli, Chairman of the Foundation said John Travolta’s support for their cause was greatly appreciated.
“We cannot thank John Travolta enough for supporting a cause that is so close to our hearts. His presence exceeded every expectation we had,” said Mr Signorelli.
The Biaggio Signorelli Asbestos Foundation is committed to raising awareness, early detection, treatment and cure for asbestos-related cancer, Mesothelioma.
The Foundation was established to honour the Signorelli siblings’ farther, Biaggio who passed away from cancer in May 2008.
In May 2018, the Signorelli family hosted a 10th Anniversary black tie fundraising gala for the Biaggio Signorelli Foundation, it was NSW’s largest seated fundraising event.
