Uniting Globally to Fight Mesothelioma - Meeting with the Prime Minister  

Our Chair, Paul Signorelli met with the Prime Minister, Hon Anthony Albanese MP, in his office at Parliament House Canberra, along with Hon Tony Burke MP, Minister responsible for the Asbestos and Silica Safety and Eradication Agency and Sally Sitou MP to launch the Commonwealth Mesothelioma Alliance.

The Biaggio Signorelli Foundation is proud to donate $1 million to this initiative, in partnership with the Asbestos and Dust Diseases Research Institute and Mesothelioma UK. The alliance will:

  • Advance mesothelioma nurse training

  • Expand clinical trial and research opportunities

  • Facilitate international training in Commonwealth nations
